General Description
SUPERBOLT® Expansion Bolts EBC are radially pretensionable shear bolts. As through-bolts they also can be tensioned axially. They replace fit bolts, which are difficult to install and dismantle. Due to the radial pre-load, the joint experiences an increase in rigidity, therefore eliminating micro-movements on the split flange. SUPERBOLT® Expansion Bolts are fully mechanical elements and therefore easy to maintain. The Expansion Bolts are totally re-usable.

Couplings on ship drives, turbines, engines, generators, compressors etc.
